Grown on the slopes of Phoenix Mountain in Southeast China, the wulongs produced in this region tend to be bold, floral, fruity, and foresty.  The leaves of this tea are black with accents of copper.  Its aroma is dark and roasted, sweet, rich, vegetal, and woodsy, with some of the aromatic sweetness of a Wuyi wulong being roasted.  The flavor of this tea is bold, earthy, grounding, slightly tart, and, above all, woodsy.  Like most phoenix wulongs, it is a slightly dry tea, with an effect that is both grounding and stimulating.  Take care in brewing this tea, as it is quite sensitive, and its bitter elements will be heavily accentuated if over-steeped.

Lasts 4-8 brews.
(Phoenix wulongs are not traditionally brewed more than five times, but you do what you want.)

Price is per 50 grams/1.76 ounces
