The leaves that make up this tea were harvested from wild-growing ancient tea trees in southern Yunnan.  (As they are wild-growing, this also makes them naturally pesticide-free.)  Yunnan white is rare to the point that most are unaware of its existence.  These trees being more commonly used to produce puer and black tea, while most white tea is grown in Fujian, on the opposite side of China.

Dry, its leaves carry an aroma that is rich, complex, and deep, reminiscent of apricots and caves.  Its flavor is woody, sweet, and tart, with elements of apricot, wild grasses, and figs.  After drinking, its sweetness coats the tongue and mouth, leaving one with floral notes of jasmine and plum blossoms.

Its qi is clean, clear, and vital, bringing qi to the head and face.  Its effects are clearing and cooling.  While it is possible to oversteep this tea, it is generally quite resilient.

Its character is like that of a deer, walking serenely through the woods.

Lasts about 12-15 brews.
