This tea is grown at on the slopes of Mt. Lu in Sichuan at an elevation of about 6,000 feet above sea level, in clean, pollution-free air.  The ancient trees from which the fresh bud leaves are harvested are up to a thousand years old.  Its flavor is incredibly clean, reminiscent of wet stone and the smell of rain.  This clean flavor profile and high quality make this cake ideal for further aging.

The leaves of this tea have a vibrant yet subtle aroma of wood and wet stone.  The brew has a citrusy, earthy, slightly floral bouquet with hints of pomelo, alfalfa, and rye grass.  Its flavor is clean and subtle, yet bright and leaves one craving more.  It has elements of melon, granite, pine, bamboo, alfalfa, parsley, copper, stone, and, most especially, petrichor (the smell before or after a rain storm).  Its texture is tannic yet velvety, with a heavy mouth feel.  It makes the mouth water and leaves a delightfully bright, tart, granite-like flavor on the tongue.

This tea lasts for about a dozen brews, and tastes especially good in its later brews.

Each cake consists of 357 grams.
