This arboreal puer is grown at an elevation of over 1,700 meters (5,500 feet) above sea level.  It produces a rich, mahogany brew, roughly the color of maple syrup, with a silky-smooth texture and aromatics reminiscent of a subterranean cave.  This tea is superbly well-balanced.  Its flavor has elements of cave dust, oak, iron, granite, dried cherries and plums, and rain.  It is full-bodied, clean, and bright, and leaves a strong petrichor (yun) sweetness ringing on the palate.  Its qi is heavy and warm, and it stimulates salivary action, making this tea mouth-wateringly good.

If this tea were a person, it would be a robust, honest farmer.  They would be loyal, straightforward, and unpretentious, yet would have impeccable fashion sense, and would clean up stunningly.  They would be equally at home working the fields in practical work-clothes or dressed to the nines, while attending a formal event in the grand ballroom of a swanky establishment.

This tea is ready to drink now and perfectly suited for further aging.

Lasts 10-15 brews.

Each cake consists of 357 grams.
