Grown without pesticides outside of Wuyi, Zhejiang, this is a fresh and vibrant green. The leaves of this tea, when dry, are a dark, forest green, rolled and twisted into hooks and loops. Upon brewing, they quickly open to reveal a more vibrant seaweed green.
This tea has a light, fluffy smell when dry, and a sweet, rich, floral aroma when wet, one reminiscent of kelp and the ocean with a hint of wood. This green is somewhat dry, with a sweetness primarily tasted on the tip and sides of the tongue. Its flavor is delicate, soothing, gentle, round, and sweet, and its brew is a luminous gold, which seems to grow with a slightly aquamarine light.
